The short answer
Minea is a dropshipping tool: products, stores and Meta ads in one place, from $49 a month. If you need TikTok products, PiPiAds; Shopify store data on Meta, GetHookd; many ad networks, BigSpy; only proven Meta ads with estimated spend, Ad Radar. On our board, 579 winning ads sell physical products, and most device ads send traffic to a dedicated landing page, not a product page.
The quick pick
Minea bundles three jobs: finding products, spying on the stores that sell them, and reading their Meta ads. Most people who look for an alternative only need one of those jobs done better, or done on a different platform.
| If you need | Pick | Entry price (checked October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| TikTok products and TikTok Shop | PiPiAds | Basic $49/month at the sale price shown (list $69) |
| A big Meta library with Shopify store data | GetHookd | $29/month, $19 billed yearly |
| Many ad networks in one search | BigSpy | $69/month (Meta only); $159 adds TikTok, YouTube, Google Ads |
| Only proven Meta ads, ranked by estimated spend | Ad Radar | $49 every 4 weeks (launch price, list $99) |
| Saving ads from several platforms for your team | Foreplay | $59/month, $49 billed annually |
| A free look at any advertiser | Meta Ad Library | Free |
For reference, Minea's pricing page in October 2026: Starter $49 a month ($39 paid quarterly), Premium $99 ($79), Business $199 ($158). Starter caps AI ad analysis and AI transcripts at 10 a month each and Magic search at 50. Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok ads are listed as coming soon.
Why people look elsewhere
From what Minea's own page shows, three reasons come up.
The AI caps. Ten AI transcripts a month on Starter is enough to test the feature, not to research a niche. If you read scripts for a living, you will hit it in an afternoon.
TikTok is still coming. Minea's strongest pages are Meta ads and influencer placements. If your products launch on TikTok, a tool built there will see them first.
Product research is not ad research. Minea is built to answer "what should I sell". Once you have a product and a brand, the question changes to "which ad should I make next", and you want filters on hooks, angles and formats more than on AliExpress prices.
The alternatives
PiPiAds
The TikTok specialist, with TikTok Shop rankings and Facebook ads as well. It switched to credits in August 2025: every list item costs 1 credit, every detail view 20. Basic came with 30,000 credits a month, shown at $49 during a sale (list $69); Advanced with 100,000 credits at $99. No refunds, but new accounts get trial credits. Best fit if TikTok is where your products live. More in PiPiAds alternatives.
GetHookd
A Meta ad library with 22 million+ active ads, brand tracking, Shopify store traffic and best sellers, and static ad cloning. It states that it does not estimate spend. Starter is $29 a month ($19 billed yearly), with a 7-day trial for $0. It is the closest thing to Minea's store-plus-ads view for Meta, at a lower price.
BigSpy
Search across many networks. Starter ($69 a month) covers Facebook and Instagram plus TikTok Shop charts; Growth ($159) adds TikTok, Twitter, Pangle, Google Ads and YouTube; Ultimate ($499) adds Pinterest, Yahoo and Unity Ads. Useful if you test products on several networks at once. See BigSpy alternatives for the trade-offs.
Ad Radar
A different starting point. Ad Radar doesn't track products, stores or suppliers. It tracks Meta ads from DTC brands and keeps only those with $50k or more in estimated spend, each tagged on ten dimensions, with transcripts you can search. It suits a seller who has moved from testing products to building a brand and wants to see which ad structures are carrying real budgets. Meta only today.
Foreplay
A swipe file first: Chrome extension, mobile app, boards and briefs, saving from Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts. No product or store research. Pick it if your team needs a shared place to keep ads, not a product finder.
Meta Ad Library
Free and official. Search a store's page and you see every ad it is running, with start dates. It is the honest baseline for any of the tools above. Our Meta Ad Library alternatives page covers what it can't do.
What physical products win on Meta: data from our board
Product tools show you what is selling. Our board shows how the winners sell it. Out of 2,443 Meta ads with $50k or more in estimated spend, 579 sell a physical product other than a supplement or a skincare topical: devices, apparel, gear and home goods.
| Product type | Ads | Brands | Median est. spend | Median days live | Reach top tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Device | 219 | 52 | $234K | 125 | 11% |
| Apparel | 176 | 27 | $198K | 156 | 11% |
| Gear | 98 | 16 | $227K | 142 | 13% |
| Home good | 86 | 21 | $247K | 135 | 14% |
| Food and drink | 137 | 34 | $376K | 117 | 16% |
"Top tier" means the top 10% of the board by winner score, so 14% is above the board average of about 10%. Gear and home goods are small samples (under 100 ads each), so read them as direction, not proof.
Two patterns matter for anyone coming from product research:
- Devices rarely send traffic to the product page. Of the 165 device ads with a landing page tag, 116 go to a dedicated landing page and only 35 to a standard product page. The ad does the hook, a long page does the selling. Gear is the opposite: 64 of 77 tagged ads go straight to the product page.
- Video dominates. 90% of device ads and 85% of gear ads are video. A product that needs to be shown working gets shown working.
If you are picking between a product page and a dedicated page for a gadget, read product page vs landing page first.

How to switch without losing a week
- Export what you saved in Minea before the renewal date. Product names and store URLs are the part you will want later.
- Decide the platform first. TikTok-led: PiPiAds. Meta-led: GetHookd, Ad Radar or the free Ad Library.
- Search one product you already know sold well. A good tool shows the ads that carried it, with start dates far back. If it only shows the last two weeks, it is a trend feed, not research.
- Move from product to angle. Once the product is chosen, filter ads by hook and format, and read the full script. Our competitor ad research process is a template for that step.
- Brief from evidence. Take the two or three ads with the longest runs and most variants and write your first brief from them. The winning ad checklist helps you check the brief before you shoot.
Figures marked as estimated spend come from Ad Radar's model of engagement on public Meta Ad Library ads. They are estimates, labeled as such, and are best used to rank ads against each other.
