The short answer
For TikTok ads the main PiPiAds alternatives are TikTok's free Top Ads dashboard, Foreplay and BigSpy's Growth plan. Ad Radar is Meta only today, so it is not a TikTok replacement. It is the right tool when your budget runs on Facebook and Instagram, where the median winning video on our board runs 64 seconds and ads under 15 seconds reach the top tier only 3% of the time.
The honest answer first
PiPiAds is a TikTok tool. Ad Radar, which publishes this blog, covers Meta only: Facebook and Instagram. TikTok is on our roadmap and not live. So if you are looking for a straight TikTok replacement, the options are below and none of them is us.
If you came to PiPiAds for winning ad ideas but most of your budget runs on Meta, read the second half. TikTok data is a weak proxy for what wins on Facebook and Instagram, and we have the numbers to show why.

TikTok Top Ads (free)
TikTok's own dashboard of high-performing auction ads. When we checked, you could filter by country, objective (traffic, app installs, conversions, video views, reach, lead generation, product sales), time range up to 180 days, ad language, Spark or non-Spark format, and likes and CTR bands, then sort by reach or CTR. Ad detail pages add view-rate and CVR data. It is the best free starting point and it comes from the platform itself. What it lacks: following a specific competitor, product data, and saving ads into boards.
Foreplay
Foreplay saves ads from the TikTok Ad Library and Top Ads, from TikTok organic, and from Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts, with a Chrome extension and a mobile app. Basic is $59 a month for one user; competitor tracking (Spyder) starts on Workflow at $175 a month. It is the pick if your team runs both TikTok and Meta and wants one place for both. Our Ad Radar vs Foreplay page compares it to us on the Meta side.
BigSpy Growth
BigSpy adds TikTok on its $159 Growth plan, alongside YouTube, Google Ads, Twitter and Pangle, with unlimited queries. Its Starter plan includes TikTok Shop charts but not TikTok ads. See our BigSpy alternatives page for the full plan breakdown.
Staying on PiPiAds
PiPiAds is still strong on TikTok Shop and product rankings. The catch is the credit model introduced for subscribers after August 1, 2025: a 20-item list costs 20 credits and each ad you open costs 20 more, so heavy researchers burn through Basic fast. It does not issue refunds, so use the trial credits to measure your own usage first.
If your budget is on Meta: what TikTok data won't tell you
Most DTC brands that research on TikTok still spend most of their budget on Meta. The problem is that the two platforms reward different edits. Here is what 1,897 winning Meta video ads with a known length look like on our board (all with $50k or more in estimated spend, snapshot of October 9, 2026).
| Video length | Ads | Median est. spend | Median days live | Reach top tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Under 15 s | 87 | $231K | 98 | 3% |
| 15 to 30 s | 183 | $215K | 110 | 9% |
| 30 to 60 s | 618 | $255K | 120 | 10% |
| 60 to 120 s | 483 | $248K | 122 | 11% |
| 2 to 5 min | 421 | $227K | 122 | 8% |
| Over 5 min | 105 | $191K | 99 | 6% |
"Top tier" is the top 10% of the board by winner score. The very short ads, the length TikTok trains you to make, are the rarest group (5% of videos) and the least likely to reach the top tier. The 30 to 120 second range holds 58% of them. More detail in the best video ad length.
Format tells a similar story. UGC selfie ads, the most TikTok-native production style, do well on Meta: 78 ads with a median estimated spend of $592K, the highest of any production format on the board. Creator skits, also a TikTok staple, are only 20 ads and none of them reached the top tier, though that sample is small.
So the concept travels well. The cut usually needs to get longer, with more explanation after the hook, before it works as a Meta ad.
I need to publicly apologize to anyone who's bought Rosabella Beetroot before, because I lied.
- Est. spend
- $1.1M
- Days live
- 213
- Format
- Video, 27s
A short selfie video that would look at home on TikTok, running for seven months on Meta. It works because it is an offer ad for people who already know the product, not a cold opener.
EmpowerMatte™ Lip Pencil
- Est. spend
- $1.1M
- Days live
- 98
- Format
- Video, 33s
- Variants
- 5
A creator page selling a lip pencil with a 33-second demo and five variants, in the top tier. Short works on Meta when the product is visual and the demo is the whole pitch.
I'm a 46-year-old dad, and this was my hairline six months ago.
- Est. spend
- $83K
- Days live

- Video, 150s
A creator-style story stretched to two and a half minutes for Meta. Still near the bottom of the board by estimated spend: the skit format is rare among Meta winners.
How to use TikTok research for Meta ads
- Take the hook, not the edit. Keep the first line and the visual idea. Rebuild the body for 45 to 90 seconds.
- Check whether the concept already runs on Meta. Search the brand in the Meta Ad Library. If the same idea has been live there for 90+ days, you have better evidence than any TikTok like count. Our guide on how to find winning Facebook ads covers the signals.
- Match the awareness level. Short selfie offers work for warm, most-aware audiences. Cold traffic on Meta usually needs the problem explained. See awareness levels in ads.
- Brief UGC creators for two lengths. Ask for a 20-second cut and a 60-second cut of the same script. Our UGC creator brief guide has a template.
- Keep one tool per platform. A TikTok tool for TikTok, a Meta tool for Meta. Mixing the evidence is how teams end up shooting 12-second ads for a platform where the winners run a minute.
For the Meta side, the Ad Radar board shows only ads with $50k or more in estimated spend, filterable by length, format and hook.
Figures marked as estimated spend come from Ad Radar's model of engagement on public Meta Ad Library ads. They are estimates, labeled as such, and are best used to rank ads against each other.
